Camping in Snæfell 

The Camping in Snæfell is close to the Snæfellsskáli hut in Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður by the road F909. The camping is open as soon as the road is, which is usually around the beginning of July.
It varies every year, as it depends on the weather conditions.
At the camping are WC and shower. Campsite guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities in the hut for a small fee.
The starting point for the hike up to Mt. Snæfell is less than one km. away from the camping site. Many other nice hiking routes are also in the area.
