Askur Taproom is a Taproom located in the brewery “Austri Brugghús” in Egilsstaðir. We offer a good variety of local craft beer and beer flights, along with quality coffee and good cocktails. At Askur Taproom you can book a tour around the brewery for groups where you can taste the local beer straight off the tank and get to know the brewing process itself.
Our microbrewery uses only fresh Icelandic water and ingredients from local producers. Our guides are also experienced brewers. They will answer all your questions and pass on their passion. We are also lucky to have some English and French speaking guides.
