Snæfellsstofa is a visitor centre for the east territory of Vatnajökull National park. The visitor centre opened in june 2010 and is the first BREEAM certified building in Iceland. The centre also has an interesting exhibition about the circle and forming of the nature and in the visitor centre you can get information about the area, the wildlife and the nature.

June/ July/ August: Every day 10-17
September: weekdays 10-15 – weekends 12-17
October-April: museum is closed
